What a pain with the delay. You managed a bit of relaxation and some shopping. It's hard to know what to do when it feels like you're just waiting around.

The hotel certainly isn’t in the same league as the Waldorf, such a shame you couldn’t stay on there. Ouch a 2am flight sounds very unappealing ☹️

The flight time was horrible and although it was nice to have more sun we were just hanging around

Yeah totally. It was ok up until early evening really and then it just dragged. I was so tired waiting for the flight .

I’m sure it would have been a lot more bearable if you could have stayed at the Waldorf! It’s just not in the same league is it. 2am flight as well, ouch!

I just wonder where all the other flight passengers were and whether they got to stay in their hotels as there were so few of us in the Holiday Inn ...
