Rough Plan - August 2019

Hi - 3 families, 6 adults, 6 kids (6-10) going to Florida for 3 weeks.

Mainly first-timers (all the kids are!) and we are staying off-site.

Not planned any details as yet - does this plan seem OK?

Reading some of the advice on here we are likely not to do full days but have a decent break during the day or come to the park later in the day and stay for evening.

08-Aug Thursday Arrival Day (5.30pm)
09-Aug Friday Shopping/Pool Day
10-Aug Saturday Disney Epcot
11-Aug Sunday Disney Animal Kingdom
12-Aug Monday Disney Hollywood Studios
13-Aug Tuesday Disney Typhoon Lagoon
14-Aug Wed Rest Day
15-Aug Thursday Disney Magic Kingdom
16-Aug Friday Universal Volcano Bay
17-Aug Saturday Rest Day
18-Aug Sunday Universal (Check in Hard Rock 1 night)
19-Aug Monday Universal
20-Aug Tuesday Disney Animal Kingdom
21-Aug Wed Rest Day
22-Aug Thursday Disney Magic Kingdom
23-Aug Friday Disney Epcot
24-Aug Saturday Cocoa Beach (Check in hotel 1 night)
25-Aug Sunday Kennedy Space Centre
26-Aug Monday Rest Day
27-Aug Tuesday Seaworld
28-Aug Wed Universal
29-Aug Thursday Departure Day

Thanks for any feedback!

We always do magic kingdom on day 1. My little one wouldn’t stay round the pool and go shopping on day 1! We usually go out for breakfast and call for shopping on way home. We also prefer blizzard beach to typhoon lagoon. We plan rest days but normally end up in park somewhere at some time! Just do what suits you and it will be amazing! Have a great time.

i am not sure that I could keep my family tethered for the 1st day. They would demand a park.. (in our case, Seaworld).

Whilst I understand the need to be fixed on your Disney days due to FP and also your Universals due to the very reccomended night in the HRH, I wouldnt mind betting that most of those rest days will become Waterpark days (or part days).

Do you have more than 1 vehicle? Some may want different destinations on different days as the vacation progresses.

Hi yes - we're getting a vehicle for each family and fully expect that we will go off to do different things. Very happy to flex the "rest" days into waterparks!

Hey, just remember to look at the busy day guide! Saturdays and Sundays are usually overly busy in the parks! We normally do a breakfast then park morning/afternoon then go back to the villa. Have a lovely time.
