Sales Tax
Can you reclaim the 6.5% sales tax on departure from the USA as the goods are being taken out of the country.

Its a big fat no. The Florida authorities are of the mind that you have bought something and therefore you will pay tax.

No - Orlando doesn't have a 'tax back' agreement. Anything I buy that is subject to tax back I buy in Texas (when I working there) as they do. Still only get around half back, but worth it on higher value items.

in the states which do offer it i find that you have to spend a fair bit to make it worth claiming and also you then will definetly have to declare it in the uk and potentially pay import duty.
