Crohns

Hi
My DS who is 14 in April has beeb diagnosed with crohns. In April he will be starting the enteral feed plan for 6 weeks . Any advice?
Dreading it as food is a big part of our social family life. That said he is positive and we are fully supportive.

This is a bit late as I’ve only just seen the post

I too have Crohn’s disease. I have frequently had to go on the enteral feed plan. TBH it was too bad, I used to go out for dinners and lunches and focus on the fact that it was doing me good. I did have terrible salt cravings. I was allowed to drink bovril and a dietician gave me a tip sprinkle salt On a top of a tomato and lick it

Biggest issue is not really hunger but I was thirsty. Also when coming off, take it really slowly
