We’ve booked to see Waitress in May. Has anyone else seen it yet? I’m really looking forward to it.

DD and I saw it a few weeks ago and thought it was good. I wouldn't say it was up there with my favourite musicals but we enjoyed it. Unfortunately I had somebody's head blocking the stage which made for uncomfortable viewing

I’ve worked on Motown, seen it, had my parents go and see it and had colleagues work it out front (I worked backstage).

Definitely a 50/50 show. I would see it in London rather than the tour because the audience RUIN the tour. We had endless problems which ruined a lot of shows, this is a regular occurrence in all venues. So if you’re seeing the tour, pick a week night not a weekend.

Mum and dad saw it in the west end and loved it! The music is great, the story is good, but they chop and change the music a lot and that’s part of the reason for the negative reviews. It’s a series of mega mixes basically.

It’s a fun show though and the music is great. But I wouldn’t book a weekend to risk having it spoilt by idiots basically.
