Heat transfer vinyl

I'd like to attempt to make a simple personalised top using my Silhouette and vinyl- not really sure where to start with purchasing the vinyl though, would anyone be able to recommend somewhere to buy the vinyl and a brand of vinyl please?

MDP or Grafityp - however postage is high for all distributers, usually around the �7 mark!

If you just want a few sheets (rather than the rolls) you can check out the "Craft Robo" section on MDP Supplies (not sure on their postage) or take a look at signmakingandsupplies - they sell by the sheet (a4 size) and postage is reasonable, they are also on ebay and it looks like "free postage" but really the price per sheet is higher on ebay than their website so it works out the same.

I have used all 3 and actually prefer Grafityp first choice, then MDP, then finally Signmakingsupplies as I don't think their quality is as good and I often have trouble either cutting or pressing with some of their stock.
