I think my last X3 had Xenon as it had auto headlight washers. This one I assume is LED as it doesn't have the washers.

I am hopeless at these things!

I do like the purple lights all over the doors and the footwell etc. Plus there are loads of different colours to pick from. Little things please little minds.

We have Xenon headlights and been told if they are broken it will be an insurance claim as they are so expensive
Regarding the underside. It won’t have corroded due to the coolant, as the coolant has inhibitor in it to stop internal corrosion of the engine.
The undertray is there to prevent damage to the engine and gearbox area by road debris. It is intended to take damage, so will still do the job even tho marked. A lot of garages won’t report this unless it ends up hanging off. In fact I have an old one off a RAV 4 sitting in my garage that I took off when one of the fixings failed. Drove the car for another two years without it with no ill effects. It wasn’t mentioned that it was missing at two services! Ask them to specify the damage.

As for the Xenon lights. The scrap yard dismantles can be your friend there.
