Ankle Foot Orthosis at Water Parks?

Hi all,
I have an AFO (Ankle Foot Orthosis), and I haven't been to WDW since I started needing it. My partner is an orthotist (and no, we didn't meet through work ) and she's said she'll be able to get some different straps to make it waterproof, and I'm going to get some water shoes that I can wear in the water parks. I was wondering if anyone knows which rides I might not be allowed to wear it on, other than Summit Plummet in BB (I remember people couldn't even wear goggles on that so I really doubt they'd let me and my hunk of plastic on).
I've learned that they have water wheelchairs, which is amazing as I'd definitely struggle to walk to the bulk of the rides, but the information I can find on accessibility doesn't mention anything about splints.
Thanks in advance

My son has AFO's on both legs and always wears them with water shoes at the water parks. We've been many times and the only slide I remember him not being able to wear them on was at Aquatica ( the one through the dolphin pool) He has been on virtually every slide/ride at Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach and Aquatica, they may have changed their rules since we were there in 2017.
He uses his own wheelchair to move around the parks as the water wheelchairs are quite difficult to manoeuvre. You can't take your own wheelchair on the ski lift at Blizzard Beach but they will exchange it for a water chair. Once you're at the top it's not far to the rides so you may be ok without a chair. We didn't change the straps, they soon dry out in the son.
As our son has got older we have stuck to the Disney water parks as lots of Aquaticas rides are fairly inaccessible as they involve lots of stairs - it was easy when we could carry him but now he's 22 he's a bit to big
Hope this helps a bit
