Carnival Cruise question

Hi.
My wife and I are going on a 2 week Carnival cruise at the end of September to the Caribbean. (Sailing from Miami)

The places we stop at are:
Grand Turk
San Juan, Puerto Rico
St. Thomas, USVI
Amber Cove, Dominican Republic
Grand Cayman
Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan
Belize
Cozumel, Mexico

I heard someone mention the other day that you may need Vaccinations for the Caribbean. Does anyone know if this is true, because the last time we went to the Caribbean on a cruise was 2001, and no-one said anything about vaccinations.

Thanks
James

Thanks for the information. I didn't think we would have to get any. It was probably just one of the reception staff at the surgery touting for business. Some of the vaccinations were over £100 each.

Also, I can't stand needles.

Just make sure you are up to date with your vaccinations recommend for life here in the UK - they are free. Further information fitfortravel.nhs.uk/destinations
Malaria meds and Yellow Fever vaccination not required. Be aware Zika virus is prevalent.

Hi Thanks for the help. That link is perfect for checking what vaccinations are needed. I've saved it for future use.

After checking, I seem to be up to date with things like Flu, but can't remember when I last had a Tetanus jab. I think I may just leave that one. DW had one a couple of years ago. (Hate needles)
