We have stayed at the Luxor, the Mirage and MGM signature. The Luxor was fine but too far down one end of the strip, the Mirage was amazing, fabulous position and the most comfortable beds ever! MGM signature was great as its a suite hotel do you get a kitchen, ideal if you are staying for a while as you can have breakfast etc in your room so saving money. But in your position, I would go for the Mirage.

From the ones you listed as being within budget, I would say at the Mirage because of its position in the Strip and its pool.
