Mobile Help requested please - western style string tie

Hi dibbers,

We’re currently our honeymoon in Orlando. My dad has asked to me get him a string tie like they used to wear in the west. He’s a teddy boy and would like the tie to complete one of his outfits.
Ive has a look around online and can’t find a shop anywhere that would sell this type of tie.
Do any more experienced travellers have any suggestions for where to go for one of these ties in the Orlando area please?

Thanks in advance

Andrew

Have you tried Shepplers on International Drive, or Way Out West? This a bit further out on the US27 though.

If you can find a tack shop that sells western riding clothing, they might have one.

Boot Barn which used to be Sheplers is a good one to try.

They are called bootlace ties or bolo ties. I remember getting one in U.K. as a kid when they briefly became a fashion thing, you can order them online no problem, including in U.K. from Amazon etc.

There's a Leather Shop in Old Town...
I don't know whether EVERYTHING is leather but they sell a lot of cowboy-type goods so there's a chance they could have some Bolos lying around somewhere?
