Question HHN - Express Pass

We have passed for 2 nights HHN but I understand that crowd levels are very high and queues are huge for all of the houses so we are hoping to get an express pass.

Can these passes be bought in advance or do we need to get them on the night at the park? Any idea on cost?

From what we have heard there will still be substantial wait times with the passes, is this correct? Are weekdays likely to be less crowded?

Thanks for your help!

It depends when you are going but yes the wait times can be long. Having an express pass would cut your wait time in half approximately.

Last year Express Passes ranged between $79.99, plus tax, per person to $149.99, plus tax. It all depends what date you go the price of the pass but generally speaking they are cheaper during the week.

You can buy in advance once they are released as is it is possible that the price of them could go up nearer the night your going so definitely buy in advance if you can.

Another option may be to purchase an RIP Tour rather than express. You will have a group tour guide and they will take you to the front of each house. It also gives you reserved seating for the shows, express pass for the rides and complimentary valet parking and access to a lounge with cash bar. Prices are around $160 plus tax per person.

I've only done HHN twice and we had express both times. I really don't know how you'd get it all done if you didn't. We still didn't leisurely watch the shows I would have liked to either.
The best bet is to be in the park in a holding area near the back. Everyone tends to head to the front houses first, so this would give you a bit of an advantage.

Have a look at the Rip tours. Pricey but well worth it. We the Rip tour in October and actually thought it was really good value for money... and I didn’t expect to say that! A fantastic evening where we were really well looked after and smashed everything there was to see in one evening with no stress or rushing around.

Does the RIP tour include entrance or do you still need HHN tickets

I had the same thought last year but as there was only 2 of us doing it I went for it. I’m as tight as they come and by the end of the evening, seeing what the queues were
Like for some of the houses, I actually thought it was decent value in the end.

We are 5 so would be too much for us to justify. Best part of £1000

Leave three at home like I did 👍
I wouldn’t have coughed up for the 5 of us either.
