Sandals

So I am at the end of my tether looking for some comfy sandals. I live in a small town with hardly any clothes shops and I have tried on every pair there is. I thought I was sorted for shoes but having realised I look like a sack of potatoes in shorts I have had to buy some dresses and they don’t go with my trainers.
I have wide flat feet so really struggle with the bar across my foot on sandals but think toe posts would rub. Really flat shoes give me back ache. I’m mid thirties so don’t want anything too ‘old’.
( I realise I am really selling myself in my description here 😂 )
Can anyone recommend anything? Thank you so much in advance.

Try fitflop ones. I have wide feet and some of the styles suit my wide foot, They are slightly raised and very supportive,

Best sandals I’ve ever had

Another vote for fitflop. I also got a really nice pair of sandals from Evans and J D Williams has a good range too.

I was going to vote for fitflops too. The post has never rubbed me. Just try to find a fabric toe post

I have awful foot problems since I’ve had 4 lots of surgeries on my feet. I’m therefore VERY precious about my feet and like to treat them very well 😂

I always wear Merrell sandals in the parks and I’ve never had any issues. They are dainty and pretty enough to wear with dresses and as they adjust across the foot and around the ankle with Velcro they can be made to measure. They are also very supportive and have soles specifically designed for women.

These particular ones don’t have toe posts either 🙂🙂

I have numerous shoe style ones for work. They are really supportive on my foot and help my bad ankle. They are also really lightweight as well

I have wide feet and love the dreaded Birkenstock’s in summer, they are moulded so not totally flat either

I have wide flat feet and struggle with sandals too, especially as I have one foot half a size bigger than the other. Fitflop are great, also Gabor do some great wide ones and Reiker (all can be brought at Charles Clinkard). I’ve also noticed that Marks do some wide fit shoes now. Shoe shopping is no pleasure when you have difficult feet!
