5 States:Big Plates of Cajun,Country&Cowboy Food Sept 2017 *COMPLETE*

Welcome to the Food Fest

There will be more steak than you can shake a stick at – why you would want to do that I don’t know but just putting it out there. I am not sure most restaurants appreciate stick waving while eating anyway

But I digress.

19 days of nomlicious dining in 5 different states – maybe 6 if we can manage it by nipping across to Mississippi from Memphis.

Just over 30 days to go and as I have finished the list and made the reservations I thought I would post now. I am hoping to update as we go so the links will turn blue along the way

I cannot WAIT to read this! We loved The Gumbo Shop in New Orleans. For cocktails, we loved Cane and Table

Ah, I will add Cane and Table to the list. I think we need two weeks in NOLA to do the cocktails justice !
I can't wait to try all the different food

Ah yes we looked at that place , it's no1 on trip advisor . We decided against it as its set dining times and we are travelling to the airport on this day to fly on to New Orleans so we didn't want to risk being tied to a fixed dinner. Shame though as its on a good deal with one of the Distillery tours.

Sounds fabulous! You are very organised! As you may have noticed, where we eat is never high on my list of things to organise!

We are the opposite, quite often where we are eating is the highlight of the day That's why my life is one diet after another
