Mco Immigration Hall. Construction Site?

We landed on 15th, and noticed that MCO immigration was a lot tidier and less construction than Nov 18. We were also lucky enough to get in just as a Mexico flight were finishing up in the immigration hall, and just before another flight. So we were out of the airport and into a taxi within an hour! Was in disbelief at how quickly we got through!

They've been sending that text for the last two years! Didn't notice any building works in October when we last went.

We flew I. Also around 3 weeks ago , we were behind a flight from lima but we were the first uk flight. That was bad enough. Hate to think how long the Manchester and later Gatwick flight passengers behind us got on.
28 immigration lanes and we counted 8 being used!

I can’t work out why MCO is such a shambles! Years they’ve been ‘improving’ but it actually gets worse. Seriously understaffed, very hot, and hell after such a long flight! The amount of money going through that airport, it’s such a horrible start to a dream holiday.
Also not noticed vending machines etc in the queue area which would be a lifesaver

Last time we were there the vending machines were close to the baggage claim and toilets areas.

I was very lucky when I went through in February. From the plane landing at 4.25pm, I was through immigration, collected luggage and on the Mears shuttle to my hotel on I-Drive by 5.15pm. Fingers crossed it will be like that in a couple of weeks time... but I somehow doubt that.
