Air France/klm flights - baggage not included

Looking at booking indirect flights Newcastle - Amsterdam - Orlando through gotogate via sky scanner. It says hand luggage only and I can’t find any way to add luggage on - anyone know if it’s possible to add it on once purchased ticket?and any idea how much it will be?

I believe with these ones you add the bags on during OLCI

well first of all gotogate is among the sites I class as "shady"
but ... well, some may have had positive experience

if you need to add luggage on, you have several options

you can add luggage for every party member. (all pax on the same reservation must have the same initial booking) so you might as well go through KLM direct, or delta direct (they'll most probably operate the flight from Schiphol to MCO) and you'll be able to add that on during the booking process, by selecting main cabin instead of the light fare.


you will also be able to add luggage at online check in, or at the airport, and will cost $60 per leg ($60 to the US, and $60 from the US) which will, if you get a suitcase there and back, cost more than booking the main cabin fare.

also be much aware that, basic economy will NOT let you pick your seats, let alone pay for them.
They will be assigned after check in, meaning that your seats are assigned by the company (not picked by you) among the leftover seats, and you may be separated.

have you checked klm site, we found them same price as the shady sites. we go next wk, same route & doing hand luggage only as 2x cases retrun was 180, only paid 365 per flight so this was a lot
