Mobile Leaving gifts for colleagues

I’m starting a new job on 2 Dec - I’ve worked in my current job for 17 years and have some very special colleagues- I’m going to do some thank you cards - I’d like to get a few little gifts for my special friends - any idea of something for about £4/5 that doesn’t look naff - I have about 10 to buy x

A nice Christmas decoration that they can keep for every year? M&S have some lovely ones this year and for all interests etc so you could get different ones. Paperchase is another place for unusual ones.

I’ve never given gifts when I moved on but that’s just me.
What about wine?
Or a book if any of them read a lot?

Normally where I work it’s the other way round. People get someone who is leaving a gift/s by way of a collection.

But the person leaving often goes out for a meal or drink with their friends on their last day and will pay for drinks for people on arrival at the venue etc.

Maybe a nice card will do - I can’t buy drinks cos they are all across the country and I won’t have a leaving do as such x

In my place the person who leaves buys cakes for everyone. Mind you that happens on birthdays too

We had a really sweet intern who made us all little plaques when she left saying thank you and that she'd miss us. I had mine hung up on my desk for ages
