Vegas - Yosemite- Monterey
Hi. Planning a ‘once in a lifetime’ holiday. Not sure what’s best for last leg of this trip.
When leaving Las Vegas we have 6 days left before flying home from LA. Original plan was to leave Vegas; go through Yosemite onto Monterey for a couple of days. Then head down to Hollywood for a couple of days also. As we will be there in early April I’m thinking Yosemite may not be fully accessible. Looking for idea to stay between Vegas and Monterey and also somewhere between Monterey and LA. As always I really appreciate the advice on this forum |

Hi tioga pass has not opened in the last number of year any where near as early as that. But would suggest you travel up to San Fran and do the drive down the coast, make sure to stop at Monterey and go whale watching if you can.

We stayed in San Luis Obispo which we loved, particularly good if your stay falls on a Thursday when the farmers food market is on...beer and ribs galore! We stayed at Madonna Inn which was fabulous 😊
