Adverts mid YouTube video?

It's an optional setting from the channel content creators side (so in this case the Trackers). They annoy me so I always have them turned off on our channel. A midroll ad would be considered another ad impression, so the content creator would get a fraction of the money YouTube get from the advertiser.

I would imagine, its gone down. Hence lots of Tubers turning to Patreon to help fund their channel

We don’t have it activated on our channel but we don’t do it for a living and we use a lot of music so we would get practically nothing. Someone like the Trackers need to make a living so, though it is annoying it is the way it is.

Yeah similar, you can usually choose the amount per month you wish to give. Some people have different levels of access depending on amount given ie early preview of vlogs, discord/whatsapp chats etc
