AMI looks amazing. We’re doing a bit of a road trip next year and cannot decide on where to stay on the gulf coast. I’d love to stay on AMI but need to find somewhere that will let us stay just 2-3 nights.

That’s the problem I had. A lot of the websites don’t even say they have a minimum night stay so I would ask for a quote only to be told then. I even booked one for one night, paid a deposit online, then 2 days later they refunded it saying they had a 5 night minimum! It didn’t say it anywhere on the website and it even let me book one night! So annoying. The cottages definitely don’t have a minimum but granted, they are not cheap.

I'm so pleased you loved Anna Maria Island and want to go back next year. Out of New York, AMI and Orlando that we are visiting this year its the place I'm most looking forward to. I'll try and get my trippy done as quick as I can to give you some possible ideas of other things to do on the island.

I can't believe with your love of shopping Helen that you didn't stop at Ellenton Outlets on your way to Orlando. Much quieter than either of the I-drive ones and in some shops better discounts
