ESTA Questions

Apologies if this has been asked and answered before, just doing our Estas now and wonder if someone can clarify the following:

Are you known by any other names or aliases? - my wife thinks we should tick yes as she was known by her maiden name.

Third Party tick? at the end it says this to be ticked if completed by third party, i have completed them all as a group booking and havent ticked this, is this ok or does it need to be ticked.

I think the key to this question is 'are you known' rather than 'have you been known'. If she doesn't use her maiden name now then I would tick no.

I did not tick the 3rd party bit and I completed them all for my family.

You don't need to include maiden names. It's only if you are currently known by any other names.

I never ticked yes when I did my wife's, and it was ok.

If she is no longer known by that name the answer is no.

Above answers are correct about maiden name. It's a present tense question.

For the third party question, I would tick no. The intention of this is more for if an agent is completing the forms on your behalf. Completing them yourself for your own family wouldn't fall under this intention. I always do a group application, fill in both forms myself and tick no. Never been an issue.
