Help - Disney Cruise
Hi
I want to book the 4 night cruise to the Bahamas for my honeymoon. I have no idea of what is good location? Forward, aft, starboard and which floor etc? Also I'm sure I have seen on the dibb a cruise ship map layout but I now can't find it. Thanks Hannah xx Edited at 01:48 PM. |

Mid ships best for not feeling the movement.
I've been on the big and little Disney ships and don't really see it makes much difference in terms of location no where is to far away. A quick google will show you ship plans. Edited at 02:05 PM. |

Cruise deck plans is a good site for looking at the plans of the ships.
As said mid ship is best for less movement. I feel movement wherever I am on the ship though! We prefer staying aft purely because the drink stations up on the pool deck are aft, so its easier to pop up and down to get a drink! If you are having a veranda room or ocean view room and want to be able to see Castaway Cay ( I presume you are planning on 4 nights on the Dream?) then its best to stay on the right hand side of the ship (as you look forward) as the ship often docks in backwards, so you get a lovely view of Castaway Cay.

I find that being on the ship is the preferably choice for location
We have inside staterooms normally as we are not in the room that much. Money saved can then be spent on cocktails, beer, trips and shopping. Claire is right though, if you're going for oceanview or veranda, go for Starboard side. My personal favourite on the Dream is the category 8a though which are HUGE! Go for 5520 if you can. Do a search of them, they're awesome rooms! Joa
