Having been up to 12,000 feet in one at Jackson, Wyoming, I find them to be be absolutely brilliant. If they are continually moving then they'll shift numbers in no time.

This hasn't actually been confirmed by Disney yet.

Good to see the Orlando Sentinel catching up with information that's been on the web for the last couple of months. They seem to make out that they are breaking the news when is was WDWMagic that worked it all out in February...

Cars are almost certainly to hold more than 10...
Orlando Sentinel posted the initial rumours back on 15th Feb:

orlandosentinel/busin...215-story.html

However, those were just rumours based on analysis by some posters on WDWMagic.

Whereas the new documents that the Orlando Sentinel mentions actually confirms that a new skyway system is coming to WDW - and provides details. Although Disney has not officially released confirmation they have said, "We’re excited about our future plans on this front and look forward to sharing details at a later date". So they are certainly not denying it.

CBR is going to be unrecognisable!

We went on similar in Madeira in November, they were high but I don't think they were 12,000 feet high ...I hated it but at least I can say I did it ... my little girl loved it , she's not got a fear of heights like me.
Those are continuous moving pods too and the queues move very quickly

Also, for those worried about Florida's weather affecting this mode of transport...

Doppelmayr, the company building the gondola system, has also built a similar system at Universal Studios Singapore. Singapore's tropical climate makes Orlando's look mild in comparison.

I imagine it will be similar to the ones at Alton Towers. More than enough room for pushchairs etc.

They've been using these in Scotland for years. Aviemore and Fort William springs to mind. Never thought I'd see them in Disney.
A good idea.

I hope it's not too high and it works without too much inconvenience to everyone!

Been years since I was on one. Will I take the bait? Don't know depends how high and how secure it looks and the length of the journey!
