I agree no comparison between a X5 and a Tahoe in build quality not taking anything away from the Tahoe it’s still a great car.

I always have a little look around a car and think what will go wrong electrically or with internal trim in the next few years. I find American cars have gaps in the trim where there shouldn't be and I doubt they have much longevity.

Mind you saying that we had a garbage Mercedes ML in work and when it was three years old I had to spend £1800 from my budget to make the interior half decent before it was sold at auction!

How long ago the original ML was not built by Mercedes and was a real peace of junk made by Mitsubishi.

Ahh, that would have been it. I retired in 2011 so a tad before that. Build quality of a woodlouse!

When we get home and I get back into the X5 it feels like the cockpit of mission space, I love the big american suvs, maybe I'm just so happy to be there everything seems better
