DestiNations discovered

Has anyone done this tour recently? Wondering if it is worth the $109.
I have read in the past that part of the tour gives you preferred viewing for illuminations near France. Is this still the case?
Finally anyone who has booked their holiday through Disney. Do they still send a small booklet with discounts which in the past contained discounts for tours in Epcot?

We did this tour in September and really loved it. If you've done the keys to the kingdom its very similar but not as long. Apart from seeing back stage and the VIP lounges etc we got to ride Spaceship earth, Test track and Living with the Land. Like you I had heard you got preferred location for Illuminations but we didnt so i think they may have dropped that. Any questions fire away!

Thank you .
We are hoping to book using the vouchers from WDW. Was it busy or do you think we will be able to book a few weeks before we travel?
I can’t see how often they run the tour is it daily? Just thinking it might impact on my fast pass Booking.

There were 12 people on our tour which i think is close to the maximum. I booked around 2 months before and had no trouble getting the date we wanted. I think it is daily but unlike the keys to the kingdom tour i think they only run one tour a day so you may need to be flexible on your dates if leaving it late to book.

Have just been reading about the tour on another forum. They also went in September and were offered the VIP viewing, although they said only 2 people took it up. I wonder if it depends on whether there is space in the VIP area on a particular day? As I have never seen the size of the area I may be wrong. Hoping it might be an option for us in September

So pleased someone asked about this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed KTTK on our last trip and was hoping this would be equally as good. Did I read that lunch was included at Rose & Crown? What food choices are there please? Any other interesting facts appreciated too. Will also look out for the vouchers before booking. Please keep me posted if you do find out about any offers

Jumping on this thread, where does the tour finish (as we will need to meet up with DH after) so looking at practicalities before we book.

Just did this last Wednesday. Will post a more complete review when back on my computer later this week but essentially you do get VIP viewing near Italy for illuminations, lunch is included at rose and crown. I booked it the day before the tour, 6 people on my tour, with an AP discount.

Only just heard about this tour and am looking for options for next year. However I use an ECV so does anyone know if this tour would fit?
