We have used Kenwood travel for flydrives before. Always been happy with the price and always had good customer service x

Yes would also recommend having a look at BA for a flydrive. We have used them twice in last 3 years and they have been over £1,000 cheaper than Virgin for comparable trips. As others have said all insurances are included in the cost which is extra with Virgin.

We have booked a flydrive with BA.. Good price and car insurance is included in the price. You can book using a deposit and pay the balance a couple months before you go.

99% of DIY car hire sites in the UK have all Insurances included. If you want to go this route pop on the car forum where we will all help you get a decent deal.

BA is good value but it can be had cheaper. Put it this way I don't use them due to their tired planes albeit I may rethink that when they get refurbished but not yet. Also their Econ seats are being made even smaller!

Currently Virgin 747 400s have an economy seat pitch of 31” samecas BA, but have a 1” smaller widths (17.5”) compared to BAs 18.1 “ pre densification, also Norweigen are 17.2” width

Agreed. Seen the new seats for the refurbished planes?

Just as a side note, BA fly/drives are packages through BA Holidays. They use other airlines as well as BA. I've booked one and am on American Airlines, last year I was on Aer Lingus. None of my sectors are/have been on BA.

Yes, they do pushes their own flights first, for example, our LHR-MCO flights, the webpage defaults to LGW-MCO, so you have to go to choose alternative flights to get other flights.

As they are in codeshares with AA and Aer Lingus, Iberia, Finnair and Veulling are all part of the same family, BA will provide these as a choice
