We have visited Busch Gardens once before and really had no idea what we wanted to do. This has really helped, as we plan to visit again this year and I will use your tips. Thanks for sharing.

thank you for the tips
we are a family of 6 and have never been before
planning on Monday 29th Aug or Tues 30th Aug

DH and 2 teen boys will go on all the coasters

Me and DS 7 and DD5 will wander about maybe and take it all in as they don't do thrill rides

How long would you suggest that the big rides as per your post will take for the 3 of them to do please?

Just wondering how long I will be on my own for with the 2 little ones!

thanks

Firstly - near most of the 'big stuff' there are other things to do - namely animal enclosures, small rides etc. see map on this link;

seaworldparks/en/buschga...teractive-map/

One tip is when youve done the Sky Ride to Sheikra - you and the little ones head to Sesame Street Safari of Fun - and ask your DH & teens to meet you back there after they've done the water rides. Then all head to Kumba.

What I do recommend tho is the investment in Quick Queue passes for the thrill riders. Most queues are generally light as (for whatever reason) BG is very rarely packed. However, those QQ can practically make most big rides walk ons at times - reducing your waits. They are coming in at $10.99 each for a one QQ per ride or $20.99 for unlimited for the dates you mention - which isnt a big investment really (please note the prices indicated exclude Cobras Curse)

Hope this help

Oh - by the way - we are there on 30th Aug too! Great minds and all that!

We can just follow you around then lol

QQ are very cheap, as would only need 3 of them so I think they will definately get one of those

thats good to know that near the big rides that there are things for me and the little ones to do too

park is open 10-6pm so hopefully that will be more than enough time to do everything.

I don't think we will do the serengeti thing though for $35 each as for 6 of us that's going to be quite costly

Just a quick bump so that it can be as much use to as many. I'll bump every couple of days this week maybe

We went to Busch for a day last year, mid July and did all the coasters. The longest wait we had was about 30 mins for the new cheetah ride. Didn't need any fast pass. We found the park fairly quiet given the time of year.
