Kennedy Space Centre - best day to visit
We want to visit KSC during our first vsit to Florida in July/August but are unsure which day to go. Currently proposing Sunday 27 July on the basis that all attractions are busy on a Sunday, but hoping that KSC might not be quite as busy as the main parks. Is that a forlorn hope? Obviously we'll only have one day there so it would be helpful to know if Sundays at KSC are oppressively crowded.

Here is a busy day guide, it may give you a better idea of which days are more likely to be quiet. Although I would follow it very loosely. Gemma |

KSC is that big you will not be able to tell if its mad busy.I have been on different days of the week and to be honest the only time I found it busy was on the day of the launch we went to see.

Best day to go is when it is really busy somewhere else !
It is massive, and swallows crowds easily, so best place to choose for a busy weekend day or bank holiday.

The dates you go mean the FL schools are off so the usual tip of 'go at the weekends as there are no school trips' doesnt count. Its also the busiest time for tourists so pretty much every day is busy
Hot sunny days are normally quieter as many head for the beach but you then have the heat to contend with.. Best to go when your own schedule allows but make sure you do the trips early or late as they will be busy, plan to have lunch early or late as it gets packed and if you take small children, get them to the play park when you start to wilt so you can have a rest. |
