Hi Ange, I heard again from the the charter company today. He checked in with a local lodge on the beach at AMI who emailed him today saying 'since the storm it has been ok. For now it has pretty much all gone' I hope you have a fab wedding and i'm already keeping an eye on availability to book again a in 2.5 weeks!

We have come back from AMI and there are no signs of red tide. Beach was beautiful. It has not 100% gone completely gone,apparently. However we went Parasailing (with Yolo who would recommend) and on a 90minute dolphin watching boat ride. There were no visible signs out at sea or on the beach or any horrible smells. So don't let any concerns of red tide affect your plans to visit AMI

What an interesting thread, I had never hear of Red tide. I am so glad for those with plans that it seems to have gone for now.
