Bit miffed not to get fp I wanted

We have 1st week from 3rd August and 2nd week from 19th August. Both stays are onsite so fp at 60 days.

I was a bit miffed today not to get FOP and SDD at all for the second half of our stay.

I couldn't even get TSM at the time I wanted and had to rejig all my plans on the hoof.

Didn't have any trouble getting what I wanted for the first week.

Does this mean the 3rd week of August is likely to be busier than the 1st?

I thought it was meant to be the other way round?

Keep looking, FPs get freed up all the time when people rejig their plans

I felt the same yesterday, we have 5 nights onsite and could only get Slinky after 7pm on 60+5, and FOP on the evening of 60+3 with no availability on any other day.

I am both frustrated that we couldn’t get better times, and worried about what it means for how busy the parks will be

I know last time we went in 2014 I couldn't get everyone (there was 8 of us) on Toy Story Mania in HS at the same time initially so had to substitute other things in. But, over the next few weeks I was able to swap them around and eventually managed to get everyone within the same hour so we could all go on together. When we were there we just had to wait for all of the times to overlap

No, I did the first half of our stay at 60 days on 4th June.

Got SDD twice with a bit of re-jigging and FOP on the days and times I wanted.

Hence my miffedness today! Can't complain too much though I'm sure our second week will still be amazing.

We check in 19th too. I had planned HS for fri 23rd. Thought that would be plenty to get SDD. Nope.

Had to swap HS and AK round. Means we miss the emh at AK on 24th.

And the fop we have is 5pm on the friday now.

And the tusker house lunch that was at a perfect 12:30 is now at 2pm.

Hopefully can modify these to better times in coming weeks. First world problems i know, but bit annoying when onsite for a week and still that difficult.

It is doubly annoying as you are being steered towards much later time slots for coveted Fast Passes - thereby eliminating your ability to book more throughout the day. Taking a 7PM FP+ slot means you cannot attempt a 4th, 5th, etc. FP until after you've scanned your magic bands at 7PM. Of course by then there will not be any useful FP+s remaining for the day.

Its a crummy system, getting worse as time goes on.

Thankful for our 60+10 window - I feel very grateful to be onsite this time

I stated with my FOP at 60 +3 days and the earliest was for 6pm by the time I refreshed they were all gone - so be quick everyone
Slinky dog was a struggle in the morning even at 60+8 had to change my plans around that day
FOP at 60+9 had wanted 9am managed 11am

I don’t mind the system as a whole, but I could only get 7DMT at 6.45. If I can’t modify nearer the time I will ditch it, as I don’t want to lose the rest of my potential FPPs. Also it’s the first day of the holiday so I’ll probably be too jet lagged to last that long!
