Gun Ranges Near I Drive

I am staying on International Drive this summer and wanted to know which was the nearest gun range? I'm going to book something as a birthday present for the DBF and would like to not travel too far!

I went to Oak Ridge gun range. We were staying on I-Drive and we got a taxi there. I don't think there were any much closer. I would recommend Oak Ridge though, it was a great experience.

Can I ask a silly question ? Would a woman (me) be able to shoot a gun etc at this range ? It's something I'd love to do but not sure about the "kickback" thing.

Just choose a handgun with a small calibre to start with if you are worried about it.

9mm is the 'standard' handgun round but I'm sure they would have a .22 (inch) calibre weapon, they have hardly any recoil at all. Just don't go getting a .44 Magnum straight off the bat

Of course if you are looking at assault rifles/rifles then the rounds are more powerful, but they are braced against the shoulder obviously.
