Question DLP or 3 Night Disney Cruise?

I would really love to hear your opinions on this

Ok, here's the rough plan. We are hoping to be able to be back in Florida in October 2009

DH has come up with a couple of thoughts

1. Quick 4 night trip to DLP in February 2009

2. Have a 3 night Disney cruise whilst there in October

He's edging towards DLP and I'm going towards the cruise

Personally, I would rather put the money he's planning on spending in DLP towards our Florida trip (unless he's won the lottery of course and just hasn't told me )

So, what do you all think?

Looking forward to hearing all your views and thanks in advance,

Claire xx

I'd do the cruise, DLP could be wet and miserable in Feb where as you'll have lovely weather in October.

I would do the cruise without any hesitation. We did exactly that last October and it was fantastic.

Cruise definitely - DLP is a big disappointment compared to WDW.

And Paris in Feb? No thanks!

I have only been to DLRP once and that was many years ago.
I would choose a cruise anytime over paris. We absolutely loved cruising this april gone.

Tough for me to answer as I have yet to take our first cruise.

We have been to DLP 3 times, 2 of them in Feb and we have had a fab time. Some days were pretty cold, other days we didn't even need our coats. The parks are pretty quiet and it would be a nice Disney fix to tide you over until Oct 09.

But if you have never done a cruise and you have the opportunity to then it might be too good to miss. Would you be extending your holiday for the cruise or would those nights come out of your normal holiday time?

Any chance you could manage both?

Now there's a thought Leanne Not sure how DH thinks we're doing one yet He's had a very long season and I think he needs something to look forward to

I think we'll have to work the cruise into our holiday but we're hoping to have 3 weeks

It seems that my idea will prove to be the better (as usual ) I knew I could rely on my Dibb pals to back me up!
