DLP in December

I've heard it's freezing in December. Do the hotel rooms have proper heating? We are staying at Santa Fe. Also, does anyone know if there is a free Disney bus from the airport? Thanks

Sorry cant remember if the hotels have heating.
But there is a bus from the airport but its not free...its run by VEA

Yes Santa fe does have a wall mounted heater.

Yeah, the hotels do have heating like Paul said.

There was quite a cold day in September when I just went where we needed 3 layers on, so I assume its very cold in December. Would be really lovely though

we went a couple of years ago at the end of January when the warmest time we had was -2C! The fountain at the Disneyland Hotel was frozen solid & it was very icy to walk around and we had a lot of snow & for the first time ever in my memory anywhere I wore a coat with a fleece lining, a fleece jumper, sweatshirt & tshirt to try & keep warm. But we had a fantastic time as I had booked the Sequioa Lodge for DH 40th birthday & we got upgraded for our whole trip.

Does the weather affect any of the rides? Or are they all still open? I best get some ski gear to wear then if the temperature is in the minus figures!

I hope it's not too cold! We're going for a few days in December, and I hate the cold!

Really looking forward to going though, were supposed to be going to WDW, but change of plans, thanks to XL!

It's a lovely time of year to go, but it can be absolutely freezing.

We have been a few times for Christmas. Last year was really really cold, temperatures hovering around -3 in the day. The year before was much the same.

In 2005 it was a bit milder, although we did have snow on Boxing Day, which was really nice.

The hotels we have stayed in have heating, in fact I remember it being very warm inside.

Have no idea about free buses from the airport, as we always drive over in our own car.

PS - The picture on my avator is from December last year at DLP. It was sunny that day, but believe me it was freezing. My 8 year old daughter was crying with the pain in her hands at one point (she had gloves on).

We went in December a few years ago and wore skiwear with lots of layers underneath, including thermals! We were fine, you just need to stop in a cafe for one of their delicious hot chocolates every now and again!
