Buying trainers
Where's a good place to buy trainers and how much would you expect to pay?
Way back in 2009 we had a real barging at one of the outlet stores. I got a pair of northface and adidas for about $25 dollars each. I cant remember which shop it was, or even which outlet, but I don't think it was the northface store as it also sold other brands. Any recommendations on shops and prices? I know $25 was a total steel and don't expect the same, but a rough idea on price would be useful. Thanks |

There are Footlocker branches all over. Most do 3 for 2 or buy 1 get 2nd half price deals so it all helps. The trouble we find is that they never have the sizes we want in the styles we want.
We like the Skechers outlet shop in Premier Outlets on Vineland. They've nearly always got great deals on: again, last year it was buy 1 get 1 half price so I got DD two pairs of Skechers for under $50.

DH bought a pair of Sketchers in Bells Outlet Mall along the 192 West last week or $30, my Nike from the same strip mall were $35!

At Nike at one of the premium outlets I got 5 pairs of trainers for $150(£100) so £20 each which I thought was pretty good. I always seem to find bargain trainers for me because ladies size 9-91/2 aren't very popular.
There was a shop at LBV outlet shoe room(?) and they had buy 1 get 1 half price which also included the clearance shoes, I got my son 2 pairs of Nike trainers for around $30! |

If you aren't fussed about specific brands then head to one of the 'shoe factory' places that carry everything.
As with everything in the outlets, it's all about what is there on the day. |
