Buying Kindle books whilst in Florida question.

About 3 hours ago I bought three Kindle books (from Amazon, of course) and they should be sent to my Kindle via Whispernet but they haven't arrived yet. I have checked and the Wireless is on.

Will Amazon.co.uk find my Kindle here in Florida?

I was hoping to get a book to read on the flight home.

I have done this lots of times without any problems and it's usually instant. It's probably the wireless like you say.

You could try selecting the sync option, I try that when mine don't go through straight away.

My wife uses her kindle here and in Orlando and buys books on it in both places with no problems.

The books had not arrived by the time I got up this morning. So, I switched the Kindle to "shop at Amazon", and by the time I had selected a book to receive a sample of, the other three had arrived.

In my first post I should have said that I had shopped for the three books on my netbook, not directly on the Kindle.
