Children at Californian Grill
Hi
Any advice or experiences shared would be welcomed... My question being -we hope to dine here with my 2 DS's aged 14 & 12 but looking at the adult menu I am not sure they would eat any of the main courses... the children's menu looks more to their taste (beef, salmon, chicken ect) but it states it's for ages 9yrs & below are they strict on this?

disney are fairly flexible and some people have had no problems ordering off the kids menu even when its been for an adult. When we went last year more often than not they said they would make dd an adult portion of a kids meal at and increased price rather than just letting us order a kids one. They didn't actually say we couldn't order a kids meal for her but did kind of push for us to get the bigger portion. I was happy enough to go with that as we were on the dining plan anyway and the kids meals can be on the smaller side so the bigger portion was a better option.

Yes they will let you order off either menu. If you're on the DDP, you can pay OOP rather than waste 2x points on a cheap meal

No we are not on the DDP but yes the larger portion sounds a good idea! Thanks!

They also have flat breads (pizzas) for starters which look substantial enough for a meal.
