Quite simply no. Photos take up a lot of server space. Increasing the size by a small amount will double the file size of the image. Add up all the users posting pictures and theDIBB is then storing gigabytes of images which then also need to be backed up each night. We have settled on that size to make sure the members can upload quite freely without it becoming a major burden to theDIBB.

Also over 50% of the page views are now on mobile phones so there is no need to increase the size of the images as they display full width on the mobile as it is.

I have noticed this on some trip reports that I have been following and they have recently added days and now there are no photos.

It's a real bummer, I've spent about 13 hours so far getting some of my reports back to how they should be
