Four Go To WDW Again - Day 1

I said it wouldn't happen this time as we didn't get to bed until midnight - but as normal we all woke up at 04:30! So after unpacking we drove to Walmart to stock up on bits and pieces

And then Golden Corral for breakfast! I love how ice cream and cookies are available as well as just about everything else you can think of! $30 for all four of us.

Our first FP of the holiday is for Navi River Journey - a fun ride that we all enjoyed - but defo not worth the standby of 85 mins!

Really needed this ice cold water at Satu lit canteen

The food was amazing - highly recommended

We tried the special slush from Pandora ( forgot the name!) - very sweet but I enjoyed it.

After Primeval Whirl and Tri Spin - we saw the Festival of the Lion King - Love this show and always get emotional- pics next time. Now have kebabs in Africa - a wonderful themed area

So Quick service is only "Burger and Chips" at Disney? I don't think so !

Now at Finding Nemo!

We come out of Nemo and it's raining but we head for Dinosaur FP+

Still raining - but really only a drizzle - we have FP for River of Light so hope the rain doesn't cause it to be cancelled 😟 Kids now in Boneyard although slides closed due to rain

Now going on Everest with Lucy

Always gone Single rider before- so this is first time see the fantastic queue line

After riding Safari and a meal of Honey Chicken at Yak and Yeti...

we use our FP for Rivers of Light.

Rivers of Light was good - but not amazing - I recommend seeing it but you probably won't want to see it again. Straight back to the bus for a speedy return to POR. What an amazing first day! 😀 Thanks for reading!
