Five Go On a Culinary Caper - Day 10
Our breakfast reservation this morning was for Trails End. We allowed plenty of time to get there, arriving at the bus stop for 8.45, however we arrived 45 minutes early for our 10.15 adr. It did allow the youngest to have some time playing in the park at fort wilderness and we were seated early for breakfast. Our table was next to the buffet which was quiet. Our server brought us moonshine (think jungle juice) and coffee. We headed to the buffet. It had some nice additions that we hadn't seen in other locations. A make your own yogurt parfait area and pecan sticky bun bake. In addition to the usual items. This was a really chilled out breakfast, it was nice to find a new location to visit and we really liked the feel of the campground. The servers were really friendly too and made us feel really welcome. The buffet was smaller than some but I would definitely go again. We spent the rest of the day in Magic Kingdom and in a break from our usual food days we only had a few snacks for the rest of the day. Youngest was hungry mid afternoon and asked for some fries, these were from Columbia Harbour House We also ate pretzels, the Mickey one The cream cheese one And the pepper jack one All of which were yummy. So glad they're back on the menu. We also had ice-cream from the Plaza Ice-cream parlour Kids cone Ice-cream cookie sandwich- vanilla The Plaza Sundae - with butter pecan and vanilla All of these were good, they didn't last long! Youngest also had a cake pop from Big Top Treats And that I'm afraid is that. A pretty poor day in terms of food reporting I'm afraid but Hubby returns tomorrow evening so I'm sure we will be back on track then. He's also taken pics of their visit to Toothsome Chocolate Emporium so I will include their review then. |

A snacky day is sometimes what's needed after all the food that's been had. I love a Mickey pretzel with the cheese dip.
