BB runoff rapids not working?

Have I missed this being discussed on here?

We went today and from what I can work out these rides have been down since they closed the park in November.

It such a large chunk of the park slides to be shut. This used to be my favourite water park, but we struggled today to get a variety of slides in.

Does anyone have any info on whether these are due to open? It doesn't look likely as there was vines growing over them!

We were there today also and it made the lines for everything else seem longer!

If they have been closed since November, is this a permanent move?

Hope not as we are planning on BB and TL return next year after 6 years away!

Just googles and fingers crossed, the rumour is that they are planning a new ride in this area?😍😍

We was planning a day here but might reconsider now? Do you think it's still worth going or would it be better going to another water park for the day?

The whole park was shut a couple of times in Feb. as the pipes/pumps were leaking. They got them working once then they went again and the area was shut for the remainder of thetime we were there.

We've just been and I don't think any water park is a whole day thing. The whole red slope is closed at blizzard beach with no signs of work beginning.
We went to each water park around 3ish and by 4 people were beginning to leave and rides were walk-ons, with the exception of aquatics where we arrived at 8.45 and walked on to everything before the crowds arrived around 10.

Volcano bay was a no go, hitting capacity very early in the day

Interesting to see the size of the potential area being developed to potentially replace runoff rapids, here's hoping for some sort of water coaster...

Will be interested to see how busy the park is when we go in a couple of weeks. Blizzard always used to be my favourite water park, but I think I've now firmly defected to typhoon lagoon...
