Disney Waterparks

Going back next year and 2 teen boys not bothered about main Disney parks but want to do Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Am I right in thinking I need to get tickets on the gate if we only want to do the waterparks? Is there a "best value" way to do it if they want to go to both?

Look into an annual pass for the water parks. Once you go for two days I think it's cheaper.
Day rate is about $65 annual pass is about $130.

Agree with Off2Florida2016 it might be worth looking at the annual pass. At the moment 2 days cost $132.06 without blackout dates, and an annual pass cost $133.13.

Definitely look into getting a annual pass, weather is so unpredictable, we go in the mornings and then do a park in the afternoon.

So glad I looked on here, the annual pass is ideal for our family too, Son & Husband love the disney water parks, we will buy a day pass for the new Volcano Bay Water park. We are only up in Orlando 6 nights, remainder of the time is Fort Lauderdale/Miami.
