Starbucks
We were downtown and waiting for a tour bus when we started to get hungry and realised it was luch time, so we went to the nearest place which was Starbucks.
I got a smoked turkey and swiss flatbread with peppers, cream cheese and lettuce and it came with apples and carrots. DH got a chipotle chicken ciabatta and we shared a bottle of water. Good size lunch and all tasty. Cost $17 Edited at 09:34 PM. |

Virgil's Real BBQ
Another recommendation that I had seen mentioned on here a few times, as well as getting good Tripadvisor reviews, was Virgil's Real BBQ just off Times Sq.
I had ribs with sides of mac and cheese and collard greens with a watermelon lemonade. The greens were pretty bitter and I couldn't eat them, but everything else was really good. The watermelon lemonade was amazing, with chunks of watermelon all through it. DH had beef brisket, quarter bbq chicken, fries and baked beans with a sam adams beer. He enjoyed all of this. Both meals also came with corn bread, which was a bit sweet and neither of us ate. Cost $73.33 and $15 tip Edited at 09:36 PM. |

Bistro Milano
I wanted to go to an Italian that had chicken parmigiana so after looking at a few menus and reviews I decided on Bistro Milano, which was fairly near our hotel.
We got some bread with oil and vinegar which we had as a starter. For mains I had chicken parmigiana which came with a salad. This was so good, and huge! I had ginger ale to drink. DH had a lasagna and a side of asparagus. He had red wine to drink. Cost $87 and $15 tip Edited at 09:43 PM. |

Loving your report - I also had the Chicken Parmigiana from Bistro Milano, its so big that I honestly thought that they'd brought out a pizza by mistake when I saw it.
