Pre Trip - Bargainous Budget Bites August 2017 - Universal and Offsite

I don't usually do a dining pre trip report. Our holiday is almost here and i'm in major food planning mode so thought I'd make a start.

This will be our 30ish trip to the USA (lost count ). It's DD's 12th trip. It's actually 20 years this month since DH and I first went as boyfriend and girlfriend after leaving Law College. We did Universal Studios (no Islands of Adventure then!) and a road trip around Florida. The rest they say is history.

The cast

Me Stephanie, 42, dibber and avid food trip report writer and reader. Will eat most things.

DH 42. He is with us honestly but won't have his picture on the dibb. Hates mushrooms and seafood. Lover of burgers and big portions.

DD Anna 11. She is off to secondary school in September. As you will see in our photos DD was born without her left hand but it doesn't hold her back. She is picky with simple tastes, no stuff in sauces, nothing spicy the list goes on. On the whole still happy with kids portions and menu options. Very much prefers to eat little and often.

We either do Disney or Universal as we go frequently.

For disney we stay onsite and love free ddp. We also enjoy our Universal trips with offsite eats.

This August we are back at Universal, staying at Loews Royal Pacific Resort for the first time. Doing Universal parks and MNSSHP, so mainly Universal and Offsite eats.

I love a bargain so my reviews feature lots of cheaper eats, coupons and special deals.

DD wanted a 4th stay at Cabana bay which we love. Found a great deal for Royal pacific and once they extended folp to Harry potter stuff persuaded her it was the better option.
