Yes, we went in 2015. Had always wanted to visit a Lego Land with the kids and thought with it being nearby it was a good opportunity. To be honest wouldn't go back. Maybe because we'd already visited Disney over several days that week, Lego Land just didn't come close. Staff were non-smiley and extremely slow and the Lego displays just looked all tired and faded from Florida sun. I am glad we went so that it was a box ticked, and we did have an ok day, but even the kids came out saying it was just ok. I know this is because they had just experienced Disney!

Getting Excited

We went because we got cheap tickets. It's defiantly aimed at the younger kids. The 6 year old liked it, but the older 4 were bored.

The atmosphere certainly isn't as good as Disney / Universal either. The staff aren't as friendly. Even though we had paid in advance there was still a missive queue to get in. I'm taking 30 m! We waited in one line as instructed by staff and got told it was the wrong colour line. We kicked up as stink along with another lady and got served eventually.

Ther newer areas are a bit more fun, Ninjago etc. There are obviously some older bits which are looking tired, faded lego models and dull rides.

The worst thing was going to get ice cream and seeing flies all over the place. No thanks! A lot of the shops and food stands were closed, as was the refillable drink stations so that wasn't an option which annoyed us.

Of course they sell a ton of Lego in the shops, it's all pricey and I noticed that many of the boxes are dented and dusty!

All in all it was a long way to go for what turned out to be pretty much half a day. Luckily it was almost empty, if it had been crowded it would have been horrible.

We went to Legoland a couple of weeks ago and had a really good day. It definitely isn't Disney but neither are the crowds. We went on a Friday and basically walked straight on to every ride and only queued for the odd ride for a couple of minutes. Our children are aged 5,7 and 9 and really enjoyed it.

That sounds like the same as the one in this country just without the sun

We went having only visited Legoland Windsor for the first time the same year. It's very similar to Windsor however it was really quiet when we went we arrived for opening headed for the back of the park and worked forwards I don't think we queued more than 5 minutes for anything and our son loved it. Much more enjoyable than Windsor with its huge queues. He was 4 almost 5 when we went.

It's for younger kids and we were disappointed having visited the one in Windsor.

For example, the Lego buildings outside which are lovely to look at just cannot be done in August- too hot outside!😳😳😳

The idea is good but it's a very badly executed park, the main problem being the absolutely hopeless operations which mean even when it's quiet lots of the rides have 20-30min waits, when if they were getting a move on there should be no wait.

We went in 2015 and I had high expectations having been a long time lego fan. Children were 22 months and 9 at the time. The park was pretty new back then as well.

Huge disappointment. The park looked very tired considering its age and discolored and flaking paint in numerous places.
Ride staff uninterested.
Little shelter

We had a two day ticket but we never went back. personally there are better ways to spend precious time in Florida than going there.

We went two years ago. My two boys loved it (age 6 and 3) as it really is geared at children under the age of 11. It was a nice park. Not quite as good as Windsor but even in August there were hardly any queues which was fab. We will definitely be going again next year.
