Hi DISNEYPRINCESS5,

My husband and I have done Universal only trips several times now and love it. We have stayed from 10 days to 14 days. We find that we can take our time and really enjoy the parks instead of rushing around trying to fit everything in over a couple of days. Also, if some rides are really busy, we can just walk on by and come back another day. It could get repetitive for some but we love it. Last time we did a day at SeaWorld and often do a shopping day or pool day so you can break it up.

We stay on site at Cabana Bay and they also have the bowling, two pools, gym and also a couple of bars so there is plenty to do when at the hotel.

Have a great vacation no matter what you choose

We are sitting at LGW waiting to start our Universal only holiday.😂
We are staying at RPR for the first week and then have a 1 bed suite in The Point Orlando for the second week.
Only got tickets for Universal we aren't even going to Disney Springs!
We want a more relaxing holiday this time and want to use the hotels' facilities more.

We did Universal for 11 days last October staying at RPR, we did a day at each seaworld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Typhoon Lagoon and the rest of the time Universal/Ioa - so 7 days.

It was a much slower paced holiday and we just dipped in and out of the parks as we had express passes we only had to queue for the Harry Potter rides. We visited Hard Rock and Portofino one day, did the crazy golf another, pool day and ate at both RPR and Citywalk several nights.

We didn't hire a car so used Uber when we needed to get around which was fine.

The only slight disappointment was that because it was HHN in October Universal closed early most of the time and we didn't have any of the late nights that we've done on previous Florida trips to Disney.

We're here at the moment, staying for 2 weeks at RPR. We're having such a lovely relaxing time, today for example we had a morning by the pool and lunch at the pool bar, back to the room for a shower and a siesta, then had a lovely late afternoon and evening in the parks. It's great just dipping in and out of the parks whenever we want, and so much more relaxing than last time when we did Disney too. It's lovely having everything within walking distance too. We've also had a day out at Discovery Cove, and a trip to Kennedy Space Centre and an airboat ride.

We're doing 12 nights this Oct, 5 down by SeaWorld then 7 at the RPR, no Disney. Hoping for a more relaxed holiday, getting more time to enjoy all the attractions. Will also have a day trip to Kennedy, a couple of days at SeaWorld and Aquatica, a bit of shopping. Can't wait!

We just came back from 2 weeks at RPR, now it wasn't just a Universal only, as we did 5 days at Disney parks, Discovery Cove, SeaWorld and Wild Florida.
What was great though was we could walk to city walk or boat it for meals, dip in and out of the parks as and when we felt like it, early entry to Volcano bay again you could dip in and out.
Felt much more relaxing even though we still did loads.
You don't need 2 weeks only at Universal but we personally would love it.
