I'm here now, nearly 11 am and a 7 & 9 year old still asleep after a park day yesterday.
I'm another poster that shudders reading the times people get up at. Even on the first morning, we all slept til after 8am. |

We start early and get later, been here 11 days and getting up between 9-10am now.
We do rope drop the first few days, then lunchtimes in parks then evenings. We only spend about 4-5 hours in a park each day so this works perfectly for us. We do an uninterrupted 14 days onsite so easily get everything done even with shorter park visits. Off on the Disney Dream on Friday so will have to set an alarm that day 😂 And as it's only 3 night sailing will try to get up earlier to make the most of it. As we're on holidays though we want to feel relaxed so that's why we try to have some lazy mornings. |

It's my holiday so I'm never up before 9am even on the first morning! I have to set my alarm for 9am or would easily sleep past it
I don't feel the need to be at parks early any more as we are lucky enough to have been often enough. Plus I've always been a big sleeper and love my bed!

I was too excited on my trip to see everything (first timer) so most days we got up early and left early.
Longest day we did, we got to Universal for early entry at 8am and didn't leave until 9pm. We are two young adults though and don't seem to need much sleep no mattter how much we do! |

I am not a morning person but first few days I find it no problem to get up early as still on Uk time. Was at volcano bay for 7.30 am early entry yesterday. Heat is also a factor depending what time of year you go too, so early starts avoid hottest part of day.

7 to 7.30 but teenager daughter can stay in bed till 12, time zones don't bother her. Oh to be young. I need to be up and out as I am a early riser and a early to bed at home, up at 6 bed for 10. Yes I know I am a bit of a party animal.!

Wow, so many early risers! A couple like me though, so good to know I'm not the only one . I think once I am up, I am up and I don't mind so much, it is just the thought of setting the alarm at 6-something, when I do that so often at home! But as so many people have said, that is what Disney is mainly about, maximising park time. Perhaps as a 'seasoned' visitor, and I am getting a bit older , it is not as much fun as it used to be!
Thanks for all your answers.
