Apparently Walden Media have now agreed with 20th Century Fox to continue production for the third Narnia film (Voyage of the Dawn Treader). Obviously it's too early to say if Fox & Walden will continue beyond that to complete the series.

I'm disappointed that it appears the Disney Decision Makers (DDM) clearly haven't even read the books. It would have then been obvious to fans of the books that the dull, wafer-thin-lot of Prince Caspian would have resulted in a padded but still dull movie, whereas The Dawn Treader clearly has the potential to be an outstanding movie; possibly the next Pirates of the Caribbean?
Personally I'm very disappointed that the franchise will probably fizzle out before they get to The Magician's Nephew, which I've been waiting to see on screen for over two decades now. |
