Apart from Publix, Super Target and WalMart which is slightly farther away there is another which escapes me. All the Walgreens and 7/11's also stock essentials and more.

Hi mullersball. Head up Formosa Blvd to 192, turn left. You will find an area with about 8 restaurants (inc pizza takeaway) a super target, Publix and more.

This is about 10 mins max from your villa and you can't miss it.

Hi. The closest is Winn Dixie which is in the small shopping area on the corner of Formosa Gardens and the 192 - there's the Outback restaurant and Taco Bell there (for reference). We pick up outer first evening supplies from there - water, OJ and then do our big shop the next morning at the Super Target or Walmart

The Winn Dixie on Formosa Gardens will be fine for first day. Literally 5 mins away. We did a few small shops there and were surprised how good it was.
Further up the 192 there's a Publx on the right and a Super Target on the left. Then at the end of 192 and up onto US 27 there's a Walmart super centre.

The Winn Dixie is called Marketplace as it is one of their smaller format stores. As others have said it is good for picking up a few things but it is more tourist oriented and doesn't have their weekly offers etc. Super Target is great for lots of non food stuff and does have a pretty good selection of food. However if you are going to be cooking and want a plain old supermarket with a good selection of fresh food I much prefer Publix. Personally once Super Target opened we have never felt the need to visit Walmart. They stock a similar range of goods but Target has a nicer environment and is just down the road.

I agree about target being much nice store than Walmart but find it more expensive...

We always use The Marketplace on the Formosa Plaza, turn right at the Outback, for our first stop off shop on the way to the villa (on Sunset Lakes , nextdoor to EI)
It is not really a WinnDixie...you cannot use the WinnDixie card there ..and they do not have the special offers...it is somehow aligned to WinnDixie and carries a lot of their store brand products..it is a huge store, big selection ...but never anyone in there... quite expensive..so good for a first stop...after that we usually use Publix...
