That's a lot of fries and hotdogs!
I always get onto the plane fully stocked with snacks and there are only the two of us! Already have my tubes of pringles bought on special the other week, and will add some sweets and a sandwich for me to that in case the flight food doesn't appeal, or doesn't turn up (I'm allergic to meat and have previously had my veggie meal given away to another passenger leaving me with nothing to eat)

That's good going getting to a park on the first night - we were too shattered. You did get a lot of fries!
The kids meals on planes are strange - the desserts never seem well suited to children , and the wraps are always too fancy for my youngest. We had to take plain ham sandwiches we bought from Boots at Manchester Airport this time! |

Day 2 - Magic Kingdom
Wow - did I struggle with excitement and the time difference. I was wide awake and spent most of the early hours using the free in-room wifi to look at the Dibb. Finally got everyone moving and headed to the Riverside Mill Food Court for breakfast. Rich and Evie had 2 chocolate croissants (snack credits), James and I shared a Bounty platter (1 QS) we also grabbed a water for the park. Rich and Evie ate the croissants before the photo - major telling off! For lunch we headed to Be Our Guest. We had already pre-booked our lunch which made it really straight forward. Found a table underneath the Belle and Beast statue and got cutlery and drinks. The service was pretty slow considering we had pre-booked and when the food came, it was luke warm. We ordered 1 turkey sandwich and 1 beef sandwich to share which was plenty enough for the four of us. The meat was plentiful in both sandwiches. We ordered them to be plain which was perfect. We ordered the Master's cupcake (delicious), the chocolate cupcake (yummy but our least fav) and a lemon meringue cupcake (really lovely) for our pudding - 1 extra snack credit used. We got a bit obsessed with how pretty the cupcakes were. We really enjoyed lunch - it was plentiful and a good use of quick service credits especially as we shared 2 meals. I want say a massive thank you to you all on here. I would NEVER have ordered the next item without you guys raving about it - I am soooo pleased that I did. It was epic and just what I needed as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. James enjoyed one of his first of many, Mickey ice creams and Evie had a Mickey ice cream sandwich. Tea was at the Crystal Palace. The kids really enjoyed being in control of their dining experience and tried both the kids and adult's sections. Rich and I thought the adult section was varied and really tasty. It was great that we could go up as many times without being judged . We had a super server who looked just like Robin Williams and was extremely attentive. Overall, a great way to meet Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet and a very relaxing meal. |
