Sushi for beginners

DH has mentioned he'd like to try sushi on our trip next year. He's never had any and not much oppertunity to get any where we live.

Where would be good for sushi for someone who doesn't k ow what he wants!?

We always visit Ichiban Chinese and Japanese Buffet on 5269 W.Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy (192) Kissimmee 34746. It is a good buffet plus a freshly made Sushi section, you can see them make them so you know they are fresh.
If he doesn't like it, there is plenty more to eat.

Also look out for coupons in the coupon books you get in Wal Marts.
We think they also have a restaurant in International Drive.

I eat sushi pretty much every day for lunch but weirdly I've never had it over there.

Maybe the Japan pavilion in Epcot would be a good place to get something to try rather than committing to it during a meal - I think there are some bits of sushi you can get as a snack credit at kabuki cafe. I hear the sushi is very good at California grill too but obviously a lot more expensive!

We're staying onsite without a car so not planning on leaving Disney this trip.

Will check out onsite places. He doesn't want to order it some place like California grill and then discover he doesn't like it!

There is a CS place now at Disney Springs that sells sushi - can't recall the name though - it's opposite the pizza place near planet Hollywood

Tokyo Dining do a sushi plate on the DDP. You can watch them making it as there is a counter to the kitchen, so you can ask a few questions if you want before you order. Knowing Disney they will probably let you have a taster free to see what you think
